End of the course!!!

Today the motif was inlaid in to the lid of the box and we did a session on doing repairs to damaged veneer on old furniture.

The box needs a great deal more work in preparation for French polishing, including flattening the top and sanding down the edges of the veneer. I will then need to add hinges, line the inside and cover the base.

I will blip it when completed.

The resident pooch kept us company each day and helped us to finish off the doughnuts and biscuits.

It has been a most interesting course, I've learned many new skills and I'm exhausted working 4 whole days on the trot!! Retirement has made me soft!! Roll on tomorrow morning......no alarm :0)
