Donkeys of Fetlar

The day started well with sunny spells but it clouded over and a few showers in the afternoon. The sun has been trying to get out this evening but still fairly dull.

With a few days left on holiday before I go back to work, off we go with the caravan for a few days and headed for the isle of Fetlar. Such a lovely lush green isle and rich in birds too. What a mixture of animals here as well, from donkeys to highland cows :) Not much of a day for exploring but will get out tomorrow as it's meant to be better :)

While out exploring the island with the car, I spotted four donkeys in park. I never knew there were an donkeys in Shetland but there are :) Lovely friendly bunch and wanted to meet Sammy dog but he wasn't having it to be. Looking over a croft scene at Tresta, Fetlar.
