Drying Out!

This poor boat, a Drascombe Lugger, had been left at anchor in the bay overnight and this morning was sitting very low in the water. Kindly neighbours rang the owner who said the bung wasn't very secure! He brought it ashore and left it on the slip to dry out. Made you wince to hear it being dragged about and banging against the stones, not a fender in sight. Good job too that no one else was needing to launch their boat!

Another hot and sunny day after an indifferent start. Breezy though, the poppies and peonies are quite battered!
