As good as it gets

Sometimes it takes a few bad things to make you realize how much good there is; unfortunate, but true.
After a few days of bad news, I still find silver linings.
We can't control a lot of things, in fact, most things.
However, the moment we start taking the simplest of things for granted is when we let the bad seep in. Today my in-laws came back from NJ. Stopped by to welcome them back, only to be greeted with fresh flowers, veggies & hugs.

This is as good as it gets. Unconditional love at it's best. To be loved, not judged, and to be looked upon favorably is all we can ask at the end of the day. I'm blessed,
thankful, and humbled.
