That's the grass cut

Which is good to see as it indicates that Summer is almost here and the farmers are out on the fields. The winter floods seem so far in the past but I am sure that all crops will have suffered even grass.

Today has been one of thoughts of preparation for the new arrival and what has to be moved/raised/protected inside and outside where the escape routes are should I be stupid enough to look the other way - after all she is a springer spaniel and will be off hunting all sorts of exciting things in the garden like leaves, twigs any birds which are silly enough to remain on the ground!
