Weird weather

What a bizarre weather day.
Got home just after 5.00 pm and the heavens just opened - water falling so hard I could not/did not wish to get out of the car. There was hail too....so I sat for ten minutes waiting for it to lessen enough for me to get to my front door. The drains were not coping with the deluge either!
At 6.00 pm went out to join the huge traffic queues (I was off to play Bridge - use the word play loosely as am learning still....) and saw a lovely rainbow.
At 9.00 pm came home along the sea front and stopped in Instow to watch the sunset....magical colours. Simply amazing!
So much weather - no wonder we use it as a number one topic of conversation!
