Back-blipped

The title is very appropriate for our friend Ken, whose 60th birthday celebration Cynthia and I attended on Sunday. It was a wonderful concert to raise funds for the Whatcom Symphony's Outreach Program. The variety of music was more than you'll ever hear anywhere else, and Ken performed in every item of the program, on the oboe or the English horn.

The VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) hall was filled to capacity, and I'm sure that everyone who attended will agree that this was truly a unique and very entertaining birthday celebration.
