Vancouver reflections

Did a fair bit of cycling today - around Stanley Park and down to the " West Side" of the city. What a pleasure to cycle on car free roads and well marked tracks. Lots of folk out cycling, walking, rollerblading, sailing, swimming or just catching some sun. I guess a few were working somewhere. This is a really lovely city with the centre a mix of flashy skyscrapers mixed in with older colonial buildings ( one faced with granite from Aberdeen ). The blip is the rather impressive older Fairmont a Hotel reflected in a newer skyscraper.
