Vancouver

Spent today getting over the jet lag and walking around Vancouver. Seems a very pleasant, clean, bike friendly sort of place - I guess the quality of life is pretty good. This is a view from the Sky Tower of the city centre. Spent the afternoon exploring Stanley Park which was full of folk walking , running and cycling and reminded us a bit of a much larger version of Central Park. The waterfront area is also fantastic with lots of boats, ferries and sea planes to look at with a fantastic backdrop of the Rockies..
