A serious discussion...

As it's only a hundred days to the Scottish Referendum, the starlings (Tom, Dick and Harry from left to right) decided to have a chat. Eric (the pigeon) is there to add a touch of glamour to the proceedings.

Dick: I want independence from pigeons!

Harry: You can't vote for that! Anyway, he'll hear you!

Dick: He can't understand starling talk.

Harry: Oh right.Anyway, that's beside the point. We can't vote down here.

Dick: We must be able to vote for something!

Harry: Maybe, but we can't vote for independence from pigeons! Eric is quite nice really.

Tom: *rolling his eyes skyward* No he isn't. He has just pooped in the bath again. I saw the bubbles.
