1499 in the teeth
We did a lot of bush cutting this weekend. So, consequently I have spent the morning at the clinic with a nurse nurse practitioner armed with a headlamp and tweezers trying to get the head of a tick out of a very sensitive body part. She couldn't get everything, but said my body will expel it. I got the two doxy capsules just to be sure after a three hour wait and visit.
I probably should not have been lying in the taking a chance on another tick, lying prone in grass dusted yellow along with the air from pine pollen, but Fyra was willing to work today. 1499, the one before the big red sparkling camera day tomorrow. Fyra had been taking lots of numbered peanuts from a pile, but the 1499 was not really showcased, so I resorted to the skewer. I could have used iPhoto to remove it, but in the end I decided to go with the actual snap. I still might change it. She was thrilled with her bounty .
For the Record,
This day came in with swirling pine pollen and clouding up skies after a sunny start.
All hands healthy (and mostly tick free)
