Alhambra

I was briefly in Middlewich today. It is a slightly sad Town Centre, despite some pleasant small buildings, commercially dominated by two supermarkets, which have been in the news lately for losing money - or at least for reduced profits.

As often in Towns with fine old buildings, the most attractive parts tend to be on the upper floors, as on this building, the former Alhambra Cinema, opened in the 1930s but now a Chinese Restaurant.
