Smooth

The relentless tide,
Caresses jagged pebbles,
Smoothing their edges.

....
"Blow, winds, and crack your cheeks! rage! blow!
You cataracts and hurricanoes, spout ..."

... except it didn't. A rumbling of thunder, some fat raindrops and then ... sunshine!!

We had an impromptu visit from Sue (56daisies) and Adrian and ended up having a grand day out at Pevensey Bay and Eastbourne and then refreshments at a country pub on the way home ..

Experimenting a bit with this... tried a range of shutter speeds to see the different effects ....
