Fox Hunting....

....busy day.

Oh, first, just a quick mention about Avatar 3D last night. Owen's review consisted of "awesome". I agree, the CGI was spectacular and I can see why it's taken Cameron 15 years to produce another film. The plot is simple and predictable and detracts, but not much. You must see it in 3D though.

Long sleepy lie-in even though I am now 7 days sans alcohol, followed by brunch and walk with Sparks around the locale. It all kicked off when I heard Sparky hissing at something which was barking back; but clearly wasn't a dog. I arrived to find Sparky and a Fox squaring up to each other. Just like the boy who gets his big brother to end the fight, my arrival signaled the end of the stand-off and Sparky stood flicking his tale in triumph as the Fox legged it.

I had to go to Asda for the shopping to calm down after all the excitement, but stumbled into Stevie Fish packing a serious blade (well, a foldaway handsaw for nabbing wooden stands from abandoned Xmas trees, to be precise). I also got to meet his lovely future Mrs.

Nancy made pea and ham soup from a chicken and I made Moroccan Chicken and Chick Pea Cous Cous for mains, so we invited the LLCoolJims round for tea.

Nice day.
