The Leaving of Stornoway

Finally, the time had come when we had to leave the lovely Island of Lewis via Stornoway. The Ferry left on time, the sun was shining, the sea was smooth and we arrived in Ullapool on time.
The drive down to Inverness was lovely and then down to Perth on the wild A9 before turning for Dundee.

We had a wonderful time on Lewis and Harris, saw some beautiful sights and had wonderful weather. We were blessed indeed and I am sure we shall go back again before too long.
