Castle Semple

A quiet morning pottering around the house today. Getting things tidied up and ready for hubby going back to work tomorrow after a long Christmas break.

In the afternoon we headed to Lochwinnoch again - this time to visit family. Had a great time walking on the frozen Castle Semple loch, but it was bitterly cold!!! Kerr and his little cousin were wrapped up so warm you could only see their eyes poking out of the prams. The place was mobbed with sledgers, ice skaters and curlers.

Some sensible people had even taken their own barbeques and were crowded around the flames keeping warm while having a beer and a burger - wish we'd thought of that one!

Fudge loved the ice and even managed to steal a packet of sandwiches from someone's picnic bag before sliding off with them - how embarassing. (And to think he was supposed to be a Guide Dog!)

Back to reality tomorrow - but what a nice way to spend the last day of Chris' holidays.
