I give up.

Either southern France adopts a more temperate climate, or the house sale in Scotland is off and I'm moving back. (Though after 2 hours in the car today it is just possible that I would feel differently if we could get the air con working in the car.)

Mr B is home from packing up the Scottish house. So it's cocktails all the way on a holiday weekend here.
