Not for all the tea ...

In China would you catch me putting even one toe in the North Sea today. The same cannot be said for Matthew who braved the wind, snow, sleet, rain and everything else Mother Nature had to throw at him to kitesurf at Southwold beach this morning.

The children and I watched on behind the warmth of secondary glazing as his solitary kite, looped and soared across the sky. The only other people we could see were stunned walkers who were standing open mouthed in disbelief.

Once Matthew had thawed out we all headed to the Red Lion with D and E for our favourite stilton burger and fries. A thoroughly blustery and enjoyable day!
