Patchwork weekend

Well this is a backblip for Friday the start of our patchwork weekend. We arrived at the Stavely Camp by 10.30 am after stopping to purchase more fabric ion Geraldine on the way. Who in all honesty if your a keen sewer could bypass a patchwork shop.
What a great start to the weekend. We were soon unpacked and at our machines, the weather was not much cop I did take a photo of some sheep in the rain but have opted for this one of the strips of material that were to turn into a quilt top by Sunday.
I sewed until 11 pm many of course had hit their bunks long since but I go to sew not sleep. Sleeping is one thing I am not good at especially when I am away from home.
