Down the Minch
One of my favourite views, the glimpse down the Minch from the foreshore at Sandwick, just outside Stornoway. The headlands march on into increasing haziness on this brilliantly sunny day. The cape plunging vertically into the sea is Kebock Head near Gravir, beyond which the Shiants and the Isle of Skye loom up.
Getting to this viewpoint was trickier than usual; read the entry on my personal blog Atlantic Lines.
