Canal at Foulridge

Another glorious day at 6am but I didn't get up then. By the time we went to breakfast it was cloudy but the plan was to go for a walk before we set off home. Just as breakfast finished it started to rain ... very hard. Going for a walk before driving home would not have been a good idea so we went our separate ways earlier than intended. It was a wonderful break. Thanks R&K!

On the way home the rain stopped for a few minutes and I took the opportunity to turn off down to the canal for a quick blip. The camera battery was dead so I only had my phone. The rain soon started again and it poured the rest of the way home.

Back home at lunch time and back to work this afternoon. Nice to have had 48hrs off.
