Manual Setting Challenge: DAY:7

Well it's a week now since I issued a challenge to myself to only publish images for 14 days that I have taken by using the Manual Settings on my Sony Cybershot. This morning I set out on my walk with the express intention of sneaking up on an unsuspecting bird and trying my hand at a moving object!!

This little character, a very colourful and charismatic rosella Rainbow Lorikeet, (thanks for the heads up tsuken!) was only too happy to oblige and kept me on my toes as he ducked and dived around the flowering Grevillea.

In the end I settled for this image which shows my beautiful friend practising his gymnastics, probably the parallel bars by the looks of it. But needless to say having a wonderful time drinking the nectar for breakfast.

PS - Bumped into Bill this morning as I finished my walk. I was able to show him my blip from yesterday and I think he was tickled pink. I will put some more beautiful hibiscus blooms on my Blip Folio tomorrow. It's been a big, big day today and I'm about to hit they hay!!
