England played very well and came close to beating New Zealand today. But the inevitable happened and the All Blacks scored a try right at the end to secure a 20-15 win. I knew we were doomed when I saw that the referee was Welsh.

My son and I have a theory that England can only be good at one major team sport at a time. The Rugby team are doing well; the cricketers are not. This no doubt puts the kibosh on any hope of the football team doing well in the World Cup. You mark my words!
