Misty Morning at Pigeon Bay, Banks Peninsula

Today's shot is looking across Pigeon Bay from the Summit Road towards the distant Kaikoura ranges.

I shot this from the Summit Road at the junction of Pettigrew's Rd - one of my favourite places to stop as you have views down each side of the Summit Rd. Whilst the fog had pretty much broken up in Pigeon Bay, on the other side of the ridge line the harbour was thick with it. (Check out the photo over on my Facebook page to see how thick it was!)

The fog has since rolled in at home now, so we're all hunkered down in front of a raging fire. Glass of red? Don't mind if I do....
