Last light on the hill tops

A late afternoon hobble on the crutches to the front gate presented me with this view of the last of the day's sun hitting our beautiful part of Banks Peninsula.

Breath in the fresh air...

With a clear night and not much wind out there, I think I can safely predict a chilly evening is ahead. Oh well, better stoke up the fire and get something warming in the belly. I reckon curry and rice, naan and a beer or two might do the trick.
