Romance and gems

This morning was a wee bit wet so my planned walk was postponed until tomorrow. But the weather faired up as the day went on so I decided to go for a drive. Strangely seeing as though it is only 30km away I had never been to Otautau (some residents will drive this way through to Invercargill but I prefer the coastal route) So I decided to do a bit of a circuit via Otautau and to see where the roads took me. Well they took me to Riverton cemetery and then back via gemstone beach.
I was going to blip the cemetery overlooking the river but decided I liked this shot. A couple holding hands on 'Gemstone beach' :-)
