Reflections

I headed back home today after my weekend in Dunedin. When i drove up on thursday night there were lots of signs about roads being closed due to flooding. It made the drive up quite nerve wracking but there was little water on the road. I couldn't however see what the surrounding countryside was like.

Today was full of sunshine but the full horror of how much water actually was about was there for all to see. Many of the fields were 2-3ft deep in water. 

The lakes had been colonised already by ducks of all kinds and the puck were in 7th heaven too
