Thistle Down

By Ethel

Of Her

Honoring my Grandmother, Mary Ann
Stinson, whom I never once laid eyes on
her. Born in the Southland in the year of
1850 and died when my father was
nine years old.

She was small and petite, and became a
School Teacher in the backwoods country of
Kentucky. She holds one of the links that
binds us together.
