Beauty is all around us.

By Grace55

We will remember them.

On this gloriously warm and sunny blue skied day, I went to the railway station to finish the task of clearing the raised beds on the far side platform, in readiness for the Summer bedding plants on Saturday morning.
There were a few early passengers who , bless them had not realised the train timetable changes in May, so they chatted, and the work was done in next to no time.
Then, with aching muscles and back, I went for a lovely canal walk, planning a beautiful blip. The canal shots were nice and I saw two horses.
Yet on the way home, these bright orange poppies seemed right for today.
They impressed me with the holy fire that filled those who were prepared to sacrifice so much to defend Britain and the peace of the world.
Traditionally red poppies are associated with remembrance, but these spoke to my heart. There was a bumble bee doing his work, and snails were resting in the orange petals.
Men, women and animals who served and won the victory so bravely for our green and pleasant land, gave all of us who live now, a priceless gift to pass to our younger generations.
To me, it is faith in a benificent power, the Great Spirit, and it is freedom to make wise decisions.
White Eagle says, the more we focus on beauty, love and wisdom, the more we draw it out of ourselves.
Have a great day blipper friends, and I hope this sunny day inspires you.
