An evening in the garden

This evening we went the the Abbaye de Fontfroide near Narbonne, for the first of several Thursday tapas evenings. The abbey is privately owned and has a restaurant, and they also make excellent wine. There was wine-tasting on the terrace, and having selected your bottle you ordered a selection of tapas and then sat down and enjoyed the gradually cooling evening while a band played subtle jazz, a mixture of Latin jazz, chanson française, and even some gravel-voiced Neil Young. It could have been a little bit warmer, but it was very pleasant, a relaxing way to wind down at the end of the day.

I was so relaxed that I took only a dozen rubbish photos. When I got home I reviewed them and deleted all of them. But this morning I had second thoughts and recovered the least bad one, just so I would have a blip :)
