Da Big Man Hits One Out

Our Detroit Tigers have the MVP (most valuable player) of the last 2 seasons...Miguel Cabrera. He hit a home run in the first inning. (How were we to know that it would be our only highlight?)

Six of us went to the game last night. We had 2 tickets behind home plate (which my Dad and my sister took)...and 4 tickets up in the nose-bleed section of the upper deck. The idea was to switch people and seats about the 3rd inning.

Funny...my sister never called, AND she wouldn't answer her phone. (Perhaps she was busy with her phone...posting pictures of her great view onto Facebook.) I'm just saying.

I'd like to end the story with a line about the great Tiger victory...but we lost to the Toronto Blue Jays 8-2.

It was a long ride home...made even longer by Dad and Sis yapping endlessly about their great seats. ;0)
