The Couple That Dunks Together...
stays together.
It took many shots to co-ordinate the dunking motion. One was down...one was up. Plus...I was trying to get both of their eyes so that I could see them. One eye I could see...the other had dipped too low.
"PLEASE DIP DOWN TOGETHER! AND, PLEASE, GO SLOWER! EVEN SLOWER THAN THAT!" What do you have to do to get a little co-operation?
This pair ambled off, so I caught up with a mother duck and her 3 babies. I think it is a domesticated duck that has been forced to make it in the wild.
I think the small brood must be her first. She was up on a rock napping while the 3 little ones were still in the water. 10 feet away they drifted...12 feet...15 feet. That's too far! Too many dangers in the water. Plus, she let herself and her babies get cornered against the rocks, and another mother attacked her...trying to drown her. She escaped while her ducklings squealed.
I put the new mother on my FLICKR PAGE, along with a crummy shot of a blue heron, and a posing squirrel.
I'm watching the French Open (tennis). Serena Williams is playing. 2 things about her. 1. Man...she's a big girl. 2. Man...can she grunt.
Take a gander into large for a better eye view.
