The Camargue

Today we visited the Camargue reserve and were delighted to see so many flamingos, herons and other wading birds. They were particular impressive in flight formation but I only managed a shot of a single bird as they had mostly settled down to feed when we arrived. In the afternoon we visited the various Roman remains in Arles and finished the day with a lovely meal in a small restaurant in a backstreet. Well done Tripadvisor. It saves a lot of time. We have never been disappointed going to a restaurant that has had a high percentage of good recommendations.
