127,000 Christenings per year, research with 1000 couples and a 2 day conference with 80 vicars all add up to ......... a pilot programme trialling new resources.

The CofE Christens 1 in 6 children in this country, so there remains a cultural memory. We've been looking at what people hope for and expect and how this knits together with church and congregation hopes and expectations.

As one vicar said, "It looks like it's an open goal .... so why haven't we scored?"
