Cloud Bank
We are right on schedule having our annual "June Gloom" weather pattern. This involves heavy marine layer foggy clouds in the morning, which dissipate into a sunny afternoon. It tends to modulate the temperatures and help retain a bit of moisture in our developed desert. In the late afternoon the clouds roll back in and create a pretty haze over the mountains to the west. This photo is in the morning looking out toward those same mountains. Some days the clouds fill in the valleys so much that it really looks like a lake among the peaks. A little less so today, but still a pretty view off the deck.
