Ben's First Birthday Party one!

The main reason I flew back to Ohio was to join in celebrating my grand nephew Ben's first birthday. They had two parties and this smaller family one was the first. It was great fun watching Ben negotiate his "smash" cake ....he finally figured it out and by the end was putting cake in his hair and the wee piece of cardboard it was on...on his head... I wish I'd been able to get pictures of that, but there were too many family members up close at that point flashing away!!
