View from Theatre Severn

This morning I went along the Montgomery Canal with my birdwatching group. We saw lots of different types of birds and flying insects including the biting sort! Luckily we just got back to the cars as the rain started.

This evening I went to Theatre Severn in Shrewsbury to see Agatha Christie's "The Mousetrap" which is touring for it's 60th anniversary. Someone sitting behind tapped me on the shoulder - it was a couple from the birdwatching group that I'd been with this morning. Neither of us had mentioned the theatre visit so strange to end up sitting near them.

The view is from the balcony at the theatre looking over the River Severn and the Welsh Bridge. The tower at the back is St. Chad's Church.
The play was very good and the set superb. I'm not going to tell you whodunnit of course!
