After The Rain

And the title could continue "And Before The Next Rain".

The day started badly. I got to the office and thought now where's my id badge? The answer came at once "It's in the pocket of your jacket that you're not wearing. You know, the one hanging up in the wardrobe at home."

So I turned around and went straight back home again. Picked up the badge and went back to work. An hour wasted.

Things got much better very quickly.

I was handed a letter when I got to my desk. I wasn't expecting a letter but let's see what it says. A very pleasant "Thanks for all your hard work, we noticed and appreciated it. Here's a bit of money to say "thank you" for your efforts." I know exactly what that'll get put towards.

I know my job is a great one, but it just keeps getting better. And the thing is, I would keep turning up without these extras.

A very happy Birthday to SOH. I know he's having a great time.
