Small Heath

heavily cropped and wouldn't face the camera despite being an obliging subject I just couldn't get things right.

Working from home for the first time in months so had a quick walk up to the woods at lunchtime. Took plenty of shots but one of those days when I didn't like most of them.

This little butterfly looked very fresh and fluffy, I couldn't get him from a better angle and I think they look so much more interesting when you catch the eye. Maybe that's an excuse to get a macro lens!
