Our kitchen...

This is the result of a broken pipe (or rather a badly installed one!). We haven't been able to use our kitchen sink for over a week and a half. Today it was fixed. But there is water damage to the two flats under us, and a dehumidifier has to be installed for three weeks, in the kitchen, through the hole in the wall. It has to run day and night non-stop and is noisy! I think I might go mad! :-(

Anyway, that's the good news. It's possible that the whole floor has to be ripped up and a separate dehumidifier installed between our floor and the ceiling below. That means the WHOLE kitchen would have to come out, and the floor re-laid afterwards. I'm a bit annoyed. That's the polite version! ;-)

It's been a hot sunny day though - that's a good thing! :-)
