Soaking up the sun...

On the way to work this morning, I thought to myself 'I hope I see some lovely wildlife today - a deer, or a hare, or a pheasant...'. A couple of hours later, when delivering to a customer whose garden backs on to fields, I turned the corner of his house and standing in the field in front of me were:

a mother deer and a fawn
and
three hares...

Where was my camera? Yes, back in the car :-(
I ran to get it but when I got back to the spot the two deer and one of the hares were gone. These remaining hares were obviously enjoying the sun so much they decided they weren't going to be driven away by a camera yielding blipper - so really I got my wish... a blip of 2 hares! :-)
