Visit to St. Kevin's well, Glendalough

Dear Diary,

This is the third holy well I've visited on this trip. I love their connection to ancient Celtic spiritually which saw them as portals...the womb of the earth. I had no clootie to tie to the tree so I left one of my mica tokens in a notch of the tree.

My old walking stick...there are so many more modern versions but it has traveled with me on all my journeys and it is like an old friend I can't abandon.

Seeing divine presence in all creation...
