Raleigh to Anchorage

Raleigh -> Detroit -> Seattle -> Anchorage

Finally arrived to alaska after 14 hours of travel...

This picture is the view from my room.

When I arrived all I could see was rain and clouds and I was too exhausted to care, but then the clouds started to clear. I started to see rolling hills climb to icy peaks as the beauty of Alaska unfolded. It was what I had been waiting for; and it was my new home for the next ten weeks. I was ecstatic.

Other notes: I met the crew, they're awesome (there's 7 of us living here). We went to eat dinner at 10pm... it was bright and sunny. Lot's of smiles here in AK!
