Thought provoking

Today was a learning curve of what evil people can do. We visited the 9/11 tribute centre and museum. To say it was moving doesn't even come close. The organisers have done a tremendous job in creating a very apt and respectful place to remember all those poor people who were lost. The museum was only recently opened and we really did spend a lot of time there absorbing the facts and details.
My mind was very troubled by how and why people would inflict such pain on others and also how on earth a plane could be taken and then slotted into such a large building......buildings.
The space on top next to the water fountains and underneath in the museum was very quiet. I think people could feel the enormous weight of what happened.

This wall and display is in front of the area where they have reposed the body parts of the poor casualties which could not be identified due to the nature of the incident.
I am glad I went as it makes me grateful for all the good things I have in my life and reminds me of how lucky I am. I don't mean that to be self centred or selfish in any way but it really did sing home that life is short and should be lived to the full.

Bless all the people lost in 9/11 and all those who helped to rebuild the area and support the family members.xxx
