My poor roses

I would have used this as my blip yesterday if it wasn't for the Ride of Respect.

After the excitement of all the bikes, I made the most of the good weather and fought my way into the shed (over all the Grandchildren's garden toys) to find some secateurs. Recently, I've struggling to get to the car and through the gates, as it's become a bit of a jungle out there. Universal Studios contacted me last week to ask if they could use it to film Jumanji 2. Well, OK perhaps I thought that they should have called but you get the idea.
All the rain we've been having has made everything grow wildly but the down side is all my poor roses are ruined.
Today I've been working on my 'project', cleaned out the shed and tided my studio. All this means is that I've moved the rubbish somewhere else. Mr E is back in the morning and I've warned him to wear a hard hat as the house is now in turmoil.
