One of these lost and lonely dreams....
Nice title, don't you think? It just appealed to me and is in the lyrics of my track choice today.
Where do I begin? Nothing really happened today. I half heartedly pushed a few things around like someone ordering dinner but having no appetite. I set up a handful of new starters early on and then I tidied up a few reports spending the rest of the day doing documentation and finally closing a load of purchase orders. See? Nothing happened!
My starlings spent most of the day arguing. Many of the babies seem to have turned into grumpy teenagers while I was away. Lucky (my pigeon) got cross with one of them and gave him a sharp peck! The offender and his four pals shut up straight away which I thought was quite amazing.
Charlie17 posed an interesting question at the end of his blip about what bands we'd most like to have seen and didn't. I'd have liked to have seen Thin Lizzy with Phil Lynott; I'd have loved to have seen Stevie Ray Vaughan. I also wish I'd seen INXS when I had the chance. My friend, Joanne, from school was in the fan club and had a spare ticket to see them (front row) as her sister (also in the fan club) couldn't go. She asked me if I wanted to go and I stupidly said 'No' as I was going out with a pillock who worked at the old bakery at Garretts Green. I think we finished the week after anyway. Things seldom last forever when you are sixteen. Ho hum. What a tragedy! Missing that concert I mean...
The highlight of the day was Danny Kelly on the radio asking for flight stories about when you were irritated. I emailed him about yesterday's flight from Glasgow and he read it out including the 'Bloarrgghhh!' bit!
Oh well, that's enough for today. I took loads of pictures today and just could not decide.
A larger cutie!
