Clematis

At least if I can only be bothered to go out in the garden in my slippers to take my daily photo I should make the effort of tripod and manual focus.

Not sure if photographing flowers is where photography is for me, but there are loads of them, and it does get me using manual focus and working out the weirdness of that in macro on the X100s, you never know when I'd be glad. Funny too when you make the effort (ok 5mins ) that you get more self critical - not a bad thing sometimes.
