Nutcracking

To make the sweets I blipped here. We'll take them to give to friends who've invited us to supper this evening.

Snow fell here this morning - a rare occurrence - but it didn't settle, despite warnings yesterday and an announcement that there would be no school buses today. I think other areas are more affected, but in eight years of spending at least part of each winter here we've only seen snow a few times and seen it settle - for half an hour - only once.
