Rhapsody in Blue

The Rose: 'Rhapsody In Blue' was named Rose of the Year in 2003 and it's easy to see why; abundant semi-double blue-purple flowers are held above leathery light-green leaves, but it's the scent which first grabs the attention. The fragrance fills the air right through summer into autumn and it was a good homecoming to see our lovely Rose in full bloom.

We arrived home at 6ish last evening after a memorable holiday and I'm feeling much better today, thank goodness, so the last of the unpacking is done, 5 loads of washing (no ironing or cleaning though) and downloading many, many photos!! (still at it at nearly 11pm). I know you shouldn't use bad language on Blip but I'm going to use a four letter one anyway ....... W..K, tomorrow - That'll bring me back to earth!

I've backblipped from last Wednesday :
Orkney Sunrise
Sands of Time
Lock Maree
and Swallows
if you would care to take a look.

Caught up with Blip now but not with comments - very sorry - but I'll be back with you all very soon and thank you to everyone who left kind comments on my early holiday blips.
