Snow

I continue to have a difficult time with blip motivation as of late. It is a combination of busy times at work and at home. The irony is that I have a great new camera, but have been trouble finding the time to use it. It is getting plenty of use for family pictures, but not enough for good blipping.

My experience with doldrums like this is to just keep shooting and let me apologize in advance for any less than stellar photos that emerge as I battle to get my mojo back.

I chose this shot because I had the opportunity and also because I liked the curious patterns in the snow. I always find the natural shapes and curves of snow curious. I chose to increase contrast and convert to B&W to add to the visual impact of the picture.

A year ago: Chips at Starbucks. I was stopping there on a way to meeting in a snow storm.

Post processing:
Curves layer for contrast in PS
Channel mixer layer in PS for B&W conversion

Constructive criticism is always welcome
